In July 2021, Sanjeev and Nicola Gupta officially launched the Gupta Family Group Foundation (GFG Foundation) in Romania, with the aim of inspiring, empowering, and enabling young people in industrial communities to reach their life and employment potential.

We do this through running school programmes in areas where the GFG Alliance has a significant presence, helping to give students some important skills to help them towards being job-ready after school. These include STEM based learning programmes, designed to involve students in problem solving real-world issues that are happening in their local communities.

Throughout this there is a strong focus on self-esteem building, so that students develop a confidence in using their own voice, expressing their points of view, so they are better able to navigate an adult world after school.

We are delighted to work with Rewise Learning, a UK based education provider, who pride themselves in making learning fun! In partnership with Rewise, we are developing engaging activities focusing on STEM, life skills, sustainability, and the wider community. These will be delivered as part of the dual learning programme, which will commence in September 2022 with Paul Dimo Vocational School in Galati.
